Supporting pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties at schools
As a teacher, one of the most common things that you come across in your classroom is dealing with challenging behaviour, like pupils with dyslexia, dyscalculia, lack of motivation or attention, aggression and anxiety. All children have the right to education and teachers have an important role in creating an inclusive teaching and learning environment that offers all children a chance to participate. Giving support to pupils with behavioural and learning difficulties is a global priority with collective responsibility. This Edukans programme contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all.
This Edukans programme provides teachers with indepth understanding of the diverse needs of vulnerable students, the origins of learning and behavioural difficulties, the implications for learning and behaviour, and a variety of effective support strategies and interventions.
When teachers are able to understand pupils with learning difficulties and when pupils feel teachers believe in them and have high expectations, it has a significant influence on their behaviour and contributes to their self-confidence.
We believe in sharing knowledge in order to have as many people as possible benefiting from our expertise in education. Therefore you can download our manual for Learning and Behaviour Support here.
